The LCI Job Fair debuts with great success

Yesterday we celebrated the 1st edition of the LCI Job Fair, an event aimed at students in their final year of bachelor's degrees and university diplomas and those of master's and postgraduate degrees.

In the words of Sílvia Antón, Student Services manager, "the aim of the event was to promote the employability of our students, so that they could do networking and meet with companies in their respective sectors to learn about the most in-demand profiles for future selection processes".

Companies from the fashion, graphic and interior design, animation, video games and photography sectors participated in the LCI Job Fair. We had professionals from: Inditex, Michael Page, Desigual, Petoons Studio, Multiplica, Miss Sunshine, HappyPunt, Match Mode, Ros + Falguera, Mago Production, LUVVE and Sylvia Bonet.

Here at LCI Barcelona we adapted again to the current situation and offered the possibility of holding online interviews for those companies that could not come to our campus. The face-to-face event was developed in compliance with all the appropriate prevention and hygiene measures against COVID-19.

One of the attendees at the LCI Job Fair was Ariadna Gegúndez, a recent graduate in Fashion Design, who told us about her experience: "I found it a great opportunity to get in touch with different companies in a closer way, to know what they are looking for and to learn about the needs of the market".

The positive feedback from participants and the more than 170 interviews that took place during the day confirm the great success of our event, which will be continued in future editions of the LCI Job Fair.
