The students of 2018-2019 class of the Master in Fashion Styling, Advertising and Audiovisual Media Marta Bona (who previously did the Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design), Johanna Paola Mitchell and Antonella Salgueiro carried out during the program a final project that reflected on different aspects of life through the oneiric world. Through this short film, entitled "DREAM", the authors wanted to address issues such as the search for one's own identity in a mass society, the importance of small trend-creating collectives, the role of the body as a form of expression or the predominance of current beauty stereotypes, among others.
After finishing the master, the three alumni have improved their project with the aim of presenting it to different festivals (Marta already has experience in this field because her short film "Reminiscence" was awarded at the 1st edition of the LCI Barcelona Fashion Film Festival). The results have not been long in coming: "DREAM" has been a finalist in the London Fashion Film Festival 2020 Official Selection and its authors intend to continue to disseminate it through different competitions such as the one hosted by our city.
Congratulations and a lot of success!
The preview shows the 12 best projects of the 2020 class, which in the face of the pandemic's challenges has been forced to reinvent themselves and reimagine the future.
The participating students of 3rd and 4th year of the Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design had to carry out a project for each of the three proposed trends: "Flow Culture", "Circus of Life" and "Hacker Spirit".
