Our Fashion students finish their studies with two great fashion shows

Last Tuesday, the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art - MACBA hosted "After nude", the fashion shows of project students who finish this year their official higher studies in Fashion Design. Divided into two events, held at 19:00h and 22:00h under the direction of the artistic director Pablo Paz, the students had the opportunity to present the collections they have made in the last months and which are the result of all they have learned during their training years (techniques, treatment of materials, methodologies and work dynamics, resources, etc.). Each look, each garment, each complement shown, is a faithful reflection of their inspiration, talent and creativity. At both events, the designers were accompanied by relatives, friends, teachers, School staff, external professionals, etc. who filled the atrium of the Catalan capital famous museum.

The LCI Barcelona Graduation Fest was chaired by Mr. Claude Marchand, LCI Education President, and Mrs. Sílvia Viudas, General Director of the School. Both of them, along with Mr. Eduard Prats, LCI Barcelona Honorary President, were in charge of delivering the awards to the best collections:

First Prize (ex aequo)

"Reminiscence" by Marta Bona and "Forditopía" by Elba Blanco

Second Prize (ex aequo)

"Periplo" by Clara Corominas and "No Gender, No Age - Build Your Life" by Shukhrat Khodjaev

Third Prize

"Inkrush" by Carlos Calvo

Congratulations to all the students of the 2016/17 promotion for giving us such wonderful fashion shows, thanks to which the fashion industry could see the great quality of the new generations that emerge from the School and our pupils enjoyed a unique platform to exhibit their work and also to demonstrate their value as designers.
