We start the year with great news! The two Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design graduates of 2019 class were awarded last month in the grand final of the international competition Arts of Fashion, held at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. Their classmates Ainara Antxia, Judit Matas, Maria Molina and Rosario Trucco also participated in the event, so LCI Barcelona was the school with the most finalists in the contest. In total, 287 students from 85 educational centers and universities located in 28 different countries sent their proposals to participate in the 18th edition of the competition, which this year had as its central theme "Verticality".
Sofia won the AoFF Scholarship Paris Masterclass, a scholarship to study at the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in Paris, while Daniela won the Maison Lemarié Paris Award and she will enjoy a stage-internship at this French brand, also located in the City of Light. Congratulations!
Last week we publicly released "The future is a blank canvas", the virtual fashion show with the collections made by the students (already graduated) of Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design class of 2020.
