Next Tuesday, May 12th at 6:30 p.m. (Barcelona time) don't miss the online masterclass "Think > Illustrate > Share" by the designer and illustrator Javirroyo, who will teach us to extract our best ideas, link them and formalize them simple and powerful way through diagrams and illustration. Javi will tell us about his work process and how he manages to create new concepts by connecting the ideas he finds in the environment. His objective is to extract the essence of real stories and representations to achieve maximum impact.
Javirroyo is the creator of the decorative vinyl brand Chispum, in which he collaborates as an author. His designs and illustrations are distributed in Europe, the United States, Canada, Japan, Korea and Latin America. In addition, he is the founder, editor and author of El Estafador, the best-known weekly online publication on graphic humor in the Spanish language and with the most readers in the world, which has collaborators from all over Latin America. He also works as an illustrator for editorials (Penguin Random House, Edelvives or Santillana) and publications (Uppers, Cuarto Poder, Interviú, El País, El Semanal, Visual or Go! Barcelona). He is the author of comics such as the series La Cebolla Asesina, his best-known character, and within this field he won in 2016 the award for best comic at the Junceda Illustration Awards. His latest book, published with Lumen (Penguin Random House), is Homo machus, a feminist work that questions unique masculinity.
