The Blanc!, a meeting-point of design, creativity and innovation in Barcelona, took place last week. The 13th edition of the festival was once again held online, and its different activities (conferences, masterclasses, etc.) were broadcast live from the Museu del Disseny (Barcelona's Design Museum).
In addition to being one of the Blanc! sponsors, we participated in the event by sharing the talent of our community through different contents:
- Pre-Blanc!: The prelude to the festival, streamed on Twitch, featured three talks by professors and guests of the School:
Marc Salinas during his talk at Pre-Blanc!
- Campus Blanc!: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design alumni Carla Solá and Cristina Martín participated in the festival's section dedicated to final projects. Carla presented "A:Minute", an app that bets on responsible design as a tool for transformation, while Cristina talked about "Archivo censurado (Censored file)", a critique of censorship and cancellation to defend freedom of expression.
- Blanc!: On Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd October, the 13th edition of the festival was officially celebrated with more than 20 hours of online content broadcast live from the Museu del Disseny. The program included three sessions given by professors from our School: a conference by Sofia Dias, another by Anastasia Pistofidou and a masterclass by Raul Marin. In addition, the event's virtual space had an LCI Barcelona stand designed for all those who wanted to learn more about us.

- Post-Blanc!: The festival does not end here! Over the next few weeks, four articles on different topics written by professors of the School will be published on Blanc!'s blog.
Congratulations once again to the organization team, it is a pleasure to be part of this reference event and to have sponsored the #BlancFest2021.
