DI55ECCIONS is back to bring you the best emerging talent and the most disruptive proposals!

On Wednesday, October 25th, we inaugurate the 7th season of our series with a talk featuring Gautier Robial (Managing Director at News & Coffee) and Oliver Montiel (design director and partner at BOLD, Head of Design at News & Coffee, and editorial designer at ArtStudies). This event is part of Barcelona Design Week's OFF program.

Because, as analog, human, and obsessive about unique curatorship, they will talk to us about the future of this discipline and how they reject macro trends (digital first, scalable, tech, etc.).

 About the speakers 

Gautier Robial

After a 15-year career in marketing and fashion, Gautier returned to his beloved Barcelona in 2018, this time in the restaurant industry. Since 2020, he has been leading the News & Coffee adventure as Managing Director. There, he applies his interest and experience in brand development alongside his business management skills. His main role is to create a strong and lasting project while preserving the spirit and culture behind the idea.

Oliver Montiel

He started working in design studios at the age of 18 and later transitioned to the "agency" sector as a designer and art director. Five years later, he met Olmo García, and together they decided to found BOLD, a branding atelier where he currently leads the Design Department. Oliver holds a degree in Design from ISEC and continues his ongoing education in design, including Creative Direction at Central Saint Martins and Creative Management at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership. In recent years, BOLD has received awards at the Laus Awards, the National Design Anuaria Awards, the German Design Award, and the Pentawards. As a photographer, he has exhibited his personal artistic work at A Pequena Galeria in Lisbon, Tabakalera in San Sebastian, and Movimiento in Barcelona.

 What is DI55ECCIONS? 

DI55ECCIONS are talks from LCI Barcelona focused on the world of design, visual arts, innovation, and creativity. Starting from the 6th season, we reinvented ourselves to give a voice to the most emerging and disruptive talent. And we continue to play with the number five: five guests present in each edition five future trends they believe in (related to their projects, their industry, society in general, etc.), and five references or key aspects of their work.
