Next Wednesday, July 14th at 19:00h (CEST), we conclude the 4th season of DI55ECCIONS with Borja Martínez, founder and director of Lo Siento Studio.
After starting his degree in Industrial Design, Borja moved to London in 1999 to study Graphic Design at the London College of Printing (today, London College of Communication). During those years he combined his studies with a part-time job as a designer at Visioncorp studio. In 2004 he returned to Barcelona to work in the Gràfica studio and, a year later, he joined the Basedesign team.
In 2007 he founded Lo Siento Studio, where he began to develop different design and art direction projects for clients in the hospitality, catering and culture sectors. In 2010, already with a team made up of three people, Lo Siento is awarded by the FAD with the Grand Laus thanks to his project Empo. In 2014, Borja is nominated to be part of the FAD assembly and Lo Siento obtains six Laus awards in categories ranging from corporate identity, packaging and naming to art direction in illustration. In 2015, the studio is awarded a Gold Laus for the Latorre Punset project. In October 2016, Borja joins the prestigious association of designers AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale).
Lo Siento Studio's projects stand out for making a physical and material approach to graphic solutions, resulting in a design that combines graphic and industrial in a constant search for alliances with artisanal processes. Their objective is the creation of brands of all kinds that combine verbal and visual language.

What is DI55ECCIONS?
The term "dissection" comes from the Latin dissectio, which means "action and effect of dividing a thing into multiple parts for examination". This is the approach from which DI55ECCIONS starts: to explore the different areas of the world of design, management, innovation, creativity, technology and sustainability with the aim of drawing inspiring conclusions. The graphic identity of the cycle takes the five as the axis around which each edition revolves, either by the number of speakers, the amount of influences and trends that are exposed, the number of projects presented, etc.
Since its birth in 2016, DI55ECCIONS has had outstanding speakers such as Martí Guixé, Chris Grant, Anna Puigjaner, Carmelo Zappulla, Domestic Data Streamers, Andoni Beristain and Snoop Barcelona, among others, who have told us about their professional career, their work and their creative processes. The evenings have also helped to promote dialogue between guests and attendees, encouraging the exchange of experiences, ideas and tips and fostering networking.
