Eight LCI Barcelona professors, recognized at Delta Awards 2020
This Tuesday, the ceremony of the ADI Awards granted by ADI-FAD was held via streaming. These awards include, among others, the Delta Awards for companies and professionals in the field of industrial design.
We are very happy because the Golden Delta in Digital Devices category has gone to "Metalquimia Signature" by ACID, the industrial design studio of Andreu Carulla (professor and tutor of the Official Master in Technological Product Design). According to the jury, this is "an aesthetically attractive industrial machinery, balanced in volume and well resolved. The machinery of the meat sector, so important in Catalonia, is a complex and difficult to value product, but in this case, the harmony of the pieces and the global nature of the family stand out thanks to the value of the design".

In addition, another seven projects led or with the participation of professors from our Bachelor's Degree in Product Design have received the Bronze Delta designation for their level of quality, innovation and creativity:
- "Paros Alabaster" by Alma Light - Ernest Perera (head of Product area).
- "Play" by Resol - David Carrasco.
- "Primo Aperitivo" by Creative Affairs Ltd - Elena Casanovas.
- "Urban Espora" by Lúcid - Marc Fabra.
- "Nodum" by Ovicuo Design - Javier Nieto.
- "Nutrecreatives" by Nutcreatives - Àlex Jiménez.
- "Mom" by Escofet - Jordi Pla.
Professor Jordi Pla is also the designer of this edition's trophy, whose promotional images were taken in one of the campus' photo studios.
