The LCI Education Network prepares to welcome the learners of the future

As part of its long-term strategy to become to become one of the largest internationally renowned private educational institutions, recognized for its innovation, efficiency, and results, the LCI Education Network announced yesterday that two of its 23 campuses are moving to ground-breaking, high-tech and modern spaces.

LCI Barcelona has acquired a new high-tech site. LCI has purchased land between Álava and Sancho de Ávila streets, near the Museu del Disseny (Barcelona Design Museum), creative studios and other prestigious institutions. This area of Barcelona is considered as the district of innovation, creativity, design and technology. More than 1500 companies and start-ups linked to media, ICT, energy, digital transformation, design and scientific research are concentrated in this part of the city, offering our students great opportunities for the future after graduation.

This state-of-the-art building will be completed at the end of 2023, and ready to be used for the 2024 winter session. The campus, located in the heart of Barcelona, will specialize in design, audiovisual arts and creative industries management, and will attract some 2000 learners a year to this very special city.

LaSalle College Vancouver will also be moving into a new purpose-built education centre that puts technology, active learning, and social engagement at the forefront. This innovative space is set to open in the summer of 2023.

The seven-story building will infuse architecture, technology and art to create a future focused learning environment. The new site will be one of the best educational environments in North America and is Fitwel and Rick Hansen Gold certified, making it a health first campus. Physical activity and meditation spaces will be made available, healthy food options will be the norm and the grounds are accessible to people of differing abilities. This state-of-the-art space will also house modern culinary kitchens, a gaming lounge, and even a suspended theatre that will service as a multi-purpose environment.

Ultimately offering an experience of a lifetime, these campuses will serve as a place for students to hone their skills and graduate primed and ready to find a job, and will provide LCI Education's colleagues a beautiful and innovative workspace.
