Both students of Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, who have just handed in their final year projects, will be at the grand finale of the contest organized by Freudenberg, a leading company in the production of interlinings and other textile products. The event will bring together students from different design schools in Europe on September 13th and 14th in the Italian city of Verona. All of them will compete for a cash prize of 2000 euros.

Emma will present one look from her collection "Come Alive", which recovers elements of the Catalan rural world ("barrets de cop", wooden clogs, handmade floral embroidery, use of natural dyes, etc.) and provides them a new life through craftsmanship. The project won second prize of our fashion shows LCI Barcelona DYSTOPIAS. Abel, for his part, will participate with one look of "GOOD KIDS", a collection inspired by the LGTB+ movement and the struggle for community rights at the 50s and 60s.

In accordance with the spirit of the competition, both proposals promote sustainability as a key factor in the present and future of design. Good luck!
