Last Thursday afternoon was held the final gala of the LCI Barcelona Fashion Film Festival 2018, the only fashion film contest of the city of Barcelona, which has far surpassed the success of its first edition. The event gathered at the Museu del Disseny - DHUB (Barcelona's Design Museum) more than 300 guests to attend the awards ceremony, half of which recognize the emerging talent.

"Spygrammers", a beauty film for Guerlain starring actress Blanca Suárez, won the Best Fashion Film Award. Julia won some months ago the Public Award at the prestigious REBELPIN Fashion Awards, held within the framework of the Berlin Fashion Week 2018. For her part, the also graduated Silvia Gutiérrez won the Award for Best Styling (New Talent) thanks to her work on "Sunday Roast".

The famous director Victor Claramunt, member of the jury and Honorary Award of this edition of the festival, could not attend the ceremony, but thanked in a video the recognition received and motivated to continue growing the contest.

At the entrance to the auditorium, attendees could enjoy four looks of the best final projects of LCI Barcelona 2017/2018 class that paraded in the last edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion. The mannequins were loaned by Atrezzo.

In this second edition, the commissioner was composed by by the director and film producer Judith Colell, the journalist specialized in fashion culture Charo Mora, the fashion brand consultant Maya McCarthy, the designer and art director Fabricio Pérez and the doctor in Social and Cultural Anthropology Sílvia Ventosa, from Barcelona's Design Museum. More than 200 projects were received and viewed by the jury, which consisted of renowned professionals from the fashion, audiovisual and advertising sectors: the above-mentioned Victor Claramunt, the actress Mariona Ribas, the fashion designer Toni Miró, the director of Metal Magazine Yolanda Muelas, the digital influencer Anna Ponsa, the director of Museu del Disseny Pilar Vélez, the CEO of XXL Comunicación Alex Estil·les, the fashion designer and alumni of the School Krizia Robustella, the jewelry designer Nuria Torrente and the journalist, founder of the fashion magazine itfashion.com and Head of LCI Barcelona's Fashion Area Estel Vilaseca.

In previous weeks, our campus hosted three workshops framed within the festival theme: "Fashion editorials" with Kluid Magazine, "Sense, society and identity in fashion films" with Gabriela Pedranti and "How to create a fashion film" with Victor Claramunt and Maya McCarthy. All the activities were a success in terms of attendance.

Congratulations to all the participants, especially the winners. See you at the next edition of the LCI Barcelona Fashion Film Festival!
