Do you have any questions about the School? In this section you will find answers to the most common doubts that LCI Barcelona future students ask themselves. 





What documents do I need to apply for admission?

  • Bachelor's degrees: certificate of studies + B2 level certificate of the language in which the program is taught (except native speakers) + copy of ID card or passport + motivation letter.
  • Master's and postgraduate degrees: certificate of studies + B2 level certificate of the language in which the program is taught (except native speakers) + copy of ID card or passport + motivation letter + resumé + portfolio (only in certain programs).

What are the admission requirements?

  • Bachelor's degrees: have completed high school or higher technical education and have a B2 level in the language in which the program is taught.
  • Master's and postgraduate programs: have completed university studies related to the area of the program (or work experience) and have a B2 level of the language in which the program is taught.

What are the starting dates?

  • Bachelor's degrees and higher technical education programs: September.
  • Master's degrees: October.
  • Postgraduate degrees: March.
  • Summer courses: July.

What are the class schedules?

  • Bachelor's degrees: Monday to Friday, mornings or afternoons depending on the program.
  • Higher technical education programs: Monday to Friday mornings.
  • Master's and postgraduate degrees: Monday to Thursday afternoons.

What programs are offered in Barcelona?

We offer 4-year bachelor's degrees, 2-year higher technical education programs, 1-year master's degrees and 6-month postgraduate programs.


Do you offer scholarships?

To take our official bachelor's and master's degrees it is possible to apply for scholarships granted by the Ministry of Education of the Spain Government (only for Spanish citizens and permanent residents in the country). In addition, we offer different scholarships and grants that you can check in this section.


What language are the programs taught in?

All our programs are taught in Spanish or English. The language is specified in each program's technical information.


Are the programs delivered on campus or online?

All bachelor's, master's and postgraduate programs are taught face-to-face at our campus in Barcelona. All other programs are face-to-face unless otherwise indicated in the name of the program.


Do the programs include internships?

Company internships are mandatory for bachelor's degrees, higher technical education programs and official master's degrees. The School also offers the possibility of doing internships in its private master's and postgraduate programs.


How does LCI Barcelona help me in my job placement?

The Business Service offers personalized attention in all processes of career guidance and the search for internships and employment. Its objective is to advise, accompany and provide candidates with knowledge on effective strategies for finding a job and give them information on how to use the resources available at LCI Barcelona and the network in the proactive management of professional development. In this vein, the School organizes Employability Days in collaboration with human resources companies such as Michael Page and produces an Employability Guide that includes the latest data and trends in job placement within the different areas of training that are taught. Is it possible to stay abroad while I am studying?

Being part of LCI Barcelona offers you unique and exceptional opportunities for international mobility. On one hand, through the Erasmus+ Program of exchange with other European universities (option available for students of bachelor's degrees) and, on the other, thanks to the LCI Education International Mobility Program, which offers you the possibility of training at any of the 23 campuses that the network has distributed in the 5 continents, in addition to doing internships in companies of these countries. LCI Education puts its network at your service so that you can be trained with a global perspective and opportunities, opening the door to the world.


What do I have to do if I have questions about the admission process?

To resolve any questions about the programs we offer, you can directly contact the Admissions Department advisers through the email admisiones@lcibarcelona.com.


How can I find the price of a program?

You have two options: fill out the form that you will find on the page of the course in question or send an e-mail to our advisers to inform you of the program.


Do you have an accompaniment program for international students?

Through the Student Service Department, LCI Barcelona welcomes and guides all international students who each year begin their studies at the center, helping them to process the relevant documents, among other things. If the current situation allows it, the department organizes different outings and excursions during the academic year to promote interpersonal relationships and the discovery of the emblematic places, customs and traditions of Barcelona and all of Catalonia.


Will I receive help finding accommodation?

The School has collaboration agreements with student residences and other types of accommodation that offer preferential conditions to LCI Barcelona students. When you formalize your enrollment, you will obtain a guide that includes all the information about it and will have the advice of the center's professionals.


How can I get to LCI Barcelona?

The campus is located at 209 Balmes street, within the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district. You can go there in:

  • Subway:
    • Fontana station (L2 - Green line).
    • Diagonal station (L5 - Blue line).
  • Bus: Balmes - Travessera de Gracia stop (Lines D40, 27 and V15).
  • Railways of the Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC): Gracia station (Lines L6, L7, S1, S2, S5 and S55).
  • Car: In the surroundings you will find different parking services.

Is there a Bicing stop near the campus?

Next to the School you have at your disposal several Bicing stations:

  • 220 station: 19 Tuset street.
  • 107 station: 92 Travessera de Gracia / Vía Augusta.

What is the functioning of the multiple spaces in the School?

The Library, the TecnoFab, the FotoLabs... the LCI Barcelona campus has different spaces that will help you promote your talent and achieve your goals. Get to know each of them here and discover everything they offer you.


Beyond the workshops, is there any place with freely available machines?

The AulaLab is an accessible space during all school hours where you have at your disposal 3D printers, sewing machines, computers and a reprographic machine for printing, photocopying and scanning.


What is the Portfolio tool?

It is an exclusive online platform that allows LCI Education students and alumni to give visibility to their projects, get in contact with national and international recruiters and take advantage of job offers and internships from companies located in all countries where the network has a campus and where new talents are needed. What is Omnivox?

Omnivox is the virtual campus of LCI Barcelona, a platform that supports participation in classes and facilitates contact between students and professors (delivery of exercises, checking of qualifications, etc.). Find out how it works here.


Do students have free wifi?

All members of the LCI community can benefit from the free wifi provided by the School while they are on the facilities.


Do I have advantages in any establishment for being a student of LCI Barcelona?

The School has collaboration agreements with different shops and restaurants near the campus. When visiting these establishments, which you will recognize by the badge with the LCI Barcelona logo that they have placed on their entrance, you will enjoy various advantages and discounts.
