Fashion changes season after season, so pattern makers need to make new prototypes constantly. In this course, the students will learn how to develop the techniques for making base patterns for women's outer garments, whose previous analysis allows the transformation of these patterns into new models for their industrialization.

SUSANNA CANALDA

She is graduated in Fashion Design by Felicidad Duce, the Fashion School of LCI Barcelona, where she also completed a program of Industrial Pattern Making for Women and several seminars of specialization in Gerber and Invesmark software. She has an extensive career that includes companies such as Rosa Clará or Chipie/Idols, as well as different freelance work for multiple brands and designers. She currently combines her professional activity with teaching.



MIGUEL ELOLA ZARAGUETA

He started his career with 16 years working as an apprentice in the family workshop, where he still makes haute couture pieces in a handmade way. He studied Design and Pattern Making at Guerrero School and at Felicidad Duce, and completed his training in firms such as Antonio Miró and Santa Eulalia. He has worked as a freelancer for different companies and is currently also an advisor for young emerging designers and consolidated brands such as Cortefiel and Pronovias.

LCI Barcelona has its own pattern making system, the prestigious Feli Method, created by the founder of the Fashion School. Its techniques, which evolve and are constantly revised, are included in the books of Felicidad Duce Publishing House.
