Study in a school with more than 90 years of experience in fashion education

Emerged as a fashion trend in the 16th century thanks to Catherine de' Medici, wife of King Henry II of France, the corset was invented to reduce the waist size of the court ladies. Since then, the conception of this garment has been modified until today, when it is considered a fashion accessory to be taken into account not only in the field of lingerie, but also in other areas such as theater costumes, party wear or haute couture.

In this course, the students will learn how to develop the techniques for making corset base patterns, whose previous analysis allows the transformation of these patterns into new models for their industrialization.
