As part of the Understanding Design festival, the artist and designer Dom Sebastian will visit LCI Barcelona on Thursday 17th May to give this workshop in the Agora of the School. Attendees will explore the use of materials such as latex or liquid foam in an experimental and unconventional way in fashion and footwear contexts (but not limited to them). Some alternative techniques and methodologies will be used to create innovative 3D designs and concepts focusing on texture, color, shape and layers.

Meet Dom Sebastian
Dom is a London-based artist and designer who explores fashion, footwear and experimental fabrics. He also has knowledge of photography and graphic design. Gel Futures, their latest project/collection, is an exploration of the creative possibilities of silicones, thermoplastics and polyurethane systems in fabrics and fashion. He has collaborated with brands such as Nike, Camper and Microsoft. He studied at Central Saint Martins in London.
