Enter the world of experiential design.
Online.
We tend to see emotions separate from cognition when we think of emotion as irrational and wild, while cognition is rational and civilized. But emotions are inseparable from cognition. Everything we think is influenced by emotions. In our design we implement emotional values of spaces that emphasize experimental human needs.
This environmental experience is determined as a result of human interaction with a physical space, generating a certain emotional or intellectual impact. Today we can identify experience as the enabling factor of any product, space or service. Each has a set of characteristics that can directly convey meaning.
Next Tuesday, May 26th at 6:30 p.m. (Barcelona time) we will enter the world of experiential design with Carmelo Zappulla, PhD in Architectural Design from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and co-founder of External Reference Architects, a studio dedicated to carrying out architecture and interior design projects. His works include the design of the exhibition for the Spanish pavilion at the 2012 Yeosu International Fair, the office of the theater company La Fura dels Baus or the Alkimia restaurant in Barcelona. Thanks to this last project, he was awarded with the SBID International Design Award 2017 and the INARCH award for Best Signature Restaurant of 2017 (awarded by the National Institute of Architecture of Italy). Carmelo combines his professional activity with the direction of our Official Master in Experiential Interior Design.
