About us

Award for Best High School Final Project

With the aim of adding value to studies and professions linked to design and creativity, promoting these vocations and encouraging the talent of students, our School annually announces the LCI Barcelona Award for Best High School Final Project.


The competition is open to students from public, private and concerted centers in Catalonia who are in High School and are carrying out a research project related to the areas taught at the School: Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Animation, Video Game Design, Product Design, Photography and Innovation and Creativity.

The 7th edition of the award is now underway! Download the conditions document here and submit your work through the following online form. You have until June 17th, 2024. The jury will announce their decision in September, and the award ceremony will take place during the last quarter of 2024.


The awards are:

  • Winner: Apple iMac 27 inches + Apple iPad Air*.
  • Finalists (2): Polaroid camera.

Likewise, the educational center of the winning student receives a set of books from Gustavo Gili Publishing House valued at 200 euros.


*The amount of first prize can also be allocated to the development of the project or to a social cause.

2021 - "Reduce" by Marta García (Josep Mestres i Busquets School)

Our general director Sílvia Viudas presented the award to Marta and her tutor Mamen Zaera


Born in 1996, Josep Mestres i Busquets School is an integrative and innovative center that works to continuously improve the quality of the different aspects involved in the learning process. Its objective is to offer a quality public education to train responsible and autonomous individuals who are prepared for life.



2020 - "Cadires per Tororo" by Carlota Regales (Infant Jesús School)

Carlota and her tutor Guillem Fàbregas collected the award from Sílvia Viudas


Jesuitas Sant Gervasi-Infant Jesús School is an education center located in the heart of Barcelona. Based on a recognized tradition and pedagogical model, it innovates at the pace of social demands to educate people capable of committing themselves to their fellows and to the improvement of our environment and society in general.


2019 - "Meteoscopi" by Ivan Casanovas (Daina-Isard School)

Born in 1969 and constituted as a cooperative in 1975, Daina-Isard School has a transversal project which contemplates the entire educational life of the student, from the age of 3 to 18. Its mission is to create, convey and promote culture in order to educate people with their own vision who live in society, contribute to it and transform it.


2018 - "Circus" by Anna Corsà (Daina-Isard School)

Our general director Sílvia Viudas presented the award to Anna and her tutor Lídia Carranza


Born in 1969 and constituted as a cooperative in 1975, Daina-Isard School has a transversal project which contemplates the entire educational life of the student, from the age of 3 to 18. Its mission is to create, convey and promote culture in order to educate people with their own vision who live in society, contribute to it and transform it.
