LCI Barcelona debuts as sponsor of Blanc! in its 12th edition

Blanc!, the festival that brings together professionals of design and creative world in general with more projection nationally and internationally, returns on October 23rd and 24th. This is a meeting point and inspiration that has had great names such as Paula Scher, Bruce Mau, Neville Brody, Alex Trochut or Ian Anderson during its career. In addition to recognizing the great masters and pioneers of design, the event also puts the focus on emerging talent.

The 12th edition of Blanc! will offer this Friday and Saturday several conferences, masterclasses, exhibitions, etc. all in live streaming. As new sponsor of the festival, LCI Barcelona actively participates in the event by providing the talent of different professors who are references in their respective sectors.

Javier Velilla, managing partner at Comuniza agency and co-director of our Master in Branding and Brand Strategy, will give a speech on Friday focused on two essential concepts of his personal and professional day-to-day: branding and time. On Saturday it will be the turn of Jofre Sanfeliu (founder of the creative studio Artofmany) and art director Ainhoa Nagore, who will give a talk entitled "A small part of art direction". Jofre is co-director of the Master in Art Direction and Graphic Project Management, while Ainhoa is professor of the program.

But Blanc! 2020 doesn't end here! Next week's Blanc! Days will be full of activities, and some of them will also be #MadeInLCI. Zoe Barceló, responsible for the Art Direction area of our Official Master in Creation and Development of Interactive Digital Projects, will talk on Monday, October 26th about strategy and creativity for brands in his talk "Smart brand model: the complete creative process". Jordi Pont, art director and project manager of the multidisciplinary studio Onionlab and professor of the Master in Motion Graphics Design, will reflect on Tuesday 27th on how the pandemic is altering work processes and will show some of their audiovisual shows and interactive experiences. Jofre Sanfeliu will return to the festival on Wednesday 28th with the second part of his talk "A small part of art direction", this time accompanied by Guillermo Aliaga and Pedro Triviño, co-founders of the creative studio Kinki Factory and professors of the Master in Art Direction and Graphic Project Management.

On Friday, October 30th don't miss Campus Blanc!, a space dedicated to young talent in which the School will also be represented by Manuela Navarro and Gabriela Nieto, recent graduates of the Official Master in Creation and Development of Interactive Digital Projects, will present their final works ("Apogeo" and "Explorautas", respectively).

At the same time, the festival will be publishing on its website different articles of interest such as "Does it make sense for branding to think in the long term when everything seems to change every minute?" by Olga Llopis (managing partner of Comuniza and co-director of the Master in Branding and Brand Strategy); "Research, the compass for designing the future", written by Natàlia Herèdia (director of the Official Master in Creation and Development of Interactive Digital Projects); and "LCI Barcelona, visual identity applied to space", in which the managers of the agency Soon in Tokyo talk about their work on our campus.
