LCI Barcelona, at 080 Barcelona Fashion 20th anniversary

From today until Friday, the prestigious catwalk for designers and emerging brands will celebrate its twentieth edition with a program full of events and activities that will flood Barcelona with design, fashion and talent. Felicidad Duce, the Fashion School of LCI Barcelona, could not miss this great event, and for that we will be present in several ways:

EVERYDAY

NEO2 PHOTO SHOOT CONTEST

In this contest, eight teams composed of students from Barcelona's fashion and photography schools compete to produce the best photoreport. The work sessions are performed live from a set in the open area of the event. A jury composed of Neo2 professionals will choose the winning report, which will be published in the famous magazine.

SCHOOLS SPACE

Nine schools of design and fashion of Catalonia, including us, present a selection of dissertations in the Open Area. Our representative will be the alumni Gabriela Zambrano, who will exhibit a sample of her collection "Auriga".

MONDAY, JUNE 26^th

14:00h - "ROOTS" by DANIEL ROSA

Graduated last year and winner of the National Prize of the Generalitat de Catalunya to the Emerging Design in the 19th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion with his collection "Isolation", Daniel returns to this catwalk with a collection inspired by the neoruralism that flees from the metropolis and bet on artisan, cultural and social traditions. This can be observed both in the technique and in the choice of materials.

14:00h - "THE JUNGLE BROTHERS" by KRIZIA ROBUSTELLA

The new collection of our alumni is inspired by the sapeurs of Congo, dandies of the 21st century that combine elegance with sport and street. The prints of the illustrator Fatimorri, along with fabrics and textures, create mixtures that seem impossible. Class, humor and hip-hop mark these colorful looks that carry us to other cultures and countries.

TUESDAY, JUNE 27^th

19:00h and 22:00h - LCI BARCELONA GRADUATION FEST

The Fashion Design students of the 2016/17 promotion will exhibit their these-collections at these two great events that will take place at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art - MACBA.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 28^th

13:00h - MARGHERITA MACCAPANI MISSONI MASTERCLASS

Margherita visits 080 Barcelona Fashion on behalf of her mother Angela, creative director of one of the most respected houses of Italian fashion at international level, to collect the Fashion Tribute that this contest offers each year to key names of the industry. She will also participate in "The Missoni Family. Born into fashion", an intimate talk in which she and Lisa Lovatt-Smith (the youngest fashion director in the history of "Vogue") will talk about their life courses in a dialogue of two friends that our students will enjoy.

THURSDAY, JUNE 29^th

11:00h - "MIRAGE" by amt. (ADRIÀ MACHADO)

He created his first capsule collection in 2014, he launched months later a line of jewelry in 3D printing made from recycled materials, and then he created his brand amt., whose garments are produced in a sustainable way in Catalonia. The alumni Adrià Machado, who just a year ago paraded in our Top 20 Talent Show with "Tundra", presents now a collection based on the mirages which focuses on heat, loss of perception of reality and the oases where we would rather be through the use of fabrics such as linen, cotton, viscose and quilted fabrics with plastic.
