LCI Barcelona celebrates the 5th anniversary of its campus by expanding facilities
Five years ago, specifically on October 7th, 2015, we opened our new campus located at Balmes street 209, in the heart of Barcelona's Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district. That meant a great boost for the education project of LCI Barcelona that, as a member of the Canadian network LCI Education, officially became a design school and expanded its academic offer betting on values such as the internationality of studies or the defense of sustainability and consolidating its link with the business world.
Now, coinciding with the 5th anniversary of this event, we have incorporated the facilities of Balmes 207 to host the new areas of Animation, Video Game Design and Photography. The campus of LCI Barcelona now has 3,500 square meters distributed in two floors with a total of 31 classrooms adapted to the needs of different disciplines. It has multipurpose spaces, which allow very diverse uses, and other more specialized ones (the TecnoFab, the FotoLabs, the computer rooms, etc.), as well as common spaces such as the library, the exhibition area or the Agora. Each corner has been designed to reflect the creative nature of the programs offered, the quality of teaching and the global education project to which we belong.
At LCI Barcelona we continue to adapt to new circumstances, growing and working so that the current situation does not shatter illusions, and we do so by offering the ideal environment for study, reflection, inspiration, experimentation and elaboration of projects. Within this context of dynamism and talent development, 1,000 students per year have the opportunity to prepare for their professional future at the most international school of design, creativity and innovation in Barcelona.
