  • "Modular type design"

Do you know Super Tipo Veloz? This is a typographic invention by Joan Trochut that first appeared in 1942. From the hand of Marc Salinas, professor, graphic designer and typography expert who is part of the collective UnosTiposDuros, we will see how this modular system (which offers infinite possibilities of combination) works and we will learn how to get the most out of it.

  • "Concept art for animation and video games"

Introductory workshop to the discipline of concept art applied to animation and video games sectors. This workshop will be given by Joan Piqué, professor, concept artist and visual developer with more than 8 years of experience working in the field of video games, cinema and theme parks for clients such as Netflix, Universal Studios or Marvel, among others.

  • "The portrait photography"
"A portrait is not an analogy. The moment an emotion or fact becomes a photograph, it is no longer a fact but an opinion. There is no such thing as inaccuracy in a photograph. All photographs are accurate. None of them are true" - Edward Weston.

What could be simpler and more complex, more obvious and more profound, than a portrait? This was the question Baudelaire asked himself. Portrait photography goes beyond the representation of a face with its infinite details. A portrait reveals only one of the possible moments, intimate and human, that make up a life. Empathy, unpredictability, experimentation and attraction. A portrait leaves more questions than answers. Workshop by Salvatore Elefante, head of the Photography area.

The event will be developed in compliance with the appropriate prevention and hygiene measures against COVID-19, so the use of mask is required throughout the session. In order to avoid crowds and guarantee a visit with small groups, attendees can only come with a companion.
