Next Friday, November 20th at 5:00 p.m. (Barcelona time) we organize together with Mi Primer Festival de Cine an online meeting in English with the director and screenwriter Karla Von Bengtson. During the masterclass, she will talk about the creative process (character design, animation and script work) of her film Next Door Spy (Nabospionen, 2017), as well as present her new feature film I am Helena, which is still in production.

Karla is a Danish filmmaker who has also directed the short film The shadow in Sara (Skyggen i Sara, 2004), with which she won several awards in competitions such as the Berlinale or the Annecy Festival, or the medium-length film Tigers and tattoos (Tigre og tatoveringer, 2010), also awarded in international festivals such as Chicago, Poland or Norway ones. She is currently developing her latest film, which has already been selected for the Development Pitch Cartoon Forum 2020.
