Next Tuesday, July 13th at 8:00h (Costa Rica time) we will launch our Coffee & Creativity from Barcelona talk series with an exclusive session for the Universidad Veritas community.
Ernest Perera, head of the Product area of LCI Barcelona, and Gianluca Pugliese, director of our Official Master in Technological Product Design, will talk about the wearables and smart products sector and what trends will define it in the post-pandemic era.
ERNEST PERERA
Product and experience designer who helps companies to be more competitive. He is an expert in providing concept renewal and development, giving specific solutions for each case. In 2006 he created his own home products editor, Amor de Madre. He is responsible for the Product Design area of LCI Barcelona. He has worked with companies and institutions such as Camper, Lékué, Delica, Mago Urban, Alma Light, Rumitag, the Museo Picasso, Artesanía de Cataluña and the ADI-FAD, and has exhibited in galleries around the world.
GIANLUCA PUGLIESE
Master in Digital Fabrication. After 10 years working in the world of aeronautics, he decided to focus his professional career in the field of 3D printing. He has worked as a developer in the most important companies in Italy within the 3D printer sector and has participated as an artist in different events and exhibitions such as the Biennale di Venezia or the Milan Design Week.
In 2016 he moves to Madrid, where, after being part of the R&D department of BQ, he launches the Iberian delegation of WASP. In 2018 he founded LOWPOLY, WASP distributor in Spain and Portugal. He currently leads our Official Master in Technological Product Design.
