Save the date! On Thursday, June 23rd at 10:00h we invite you to the grand premiere of "Sweet Side", the final degree short film made by our third year students of the University Diploma in 2D and 3D Animation.

 What is "Sweet Side" about?

The short film tells the story of young Jean's suicide in a poetic and sensitive way to give visibility to this silent pandemic that is claiming more lives than ever. Using a traditional 2D animation technique mixed with 3D scenarios and FX, our students present us an innovative proposal that does not neglect the European aesthetics with influences from Sylvain Chomet's creations.

What will the event consist of?

First of all, "Sweet Side" will be presented to all attendees and, after the screening, our students will talk about all the work they have done (production, art, script, animation, video editing, etc.) in front of a professional jury that will evaluate the short film.

 Where will it be held?

The premiere of "Sweet Side" will take place in the spectacular Sala Phenomena Experience, a cinema like it used to be equipped with the latest technology in image and sound. It has one of the largest screens in the country, with every last detail taken care of, to offer the spectator the best possible projection quality.
