This 2023 we celebrate our 10th anniversary consolidated as the European hub of the LCI Education network specialized in Design and Visual Arts. We invite you to join us on a journey through the past, present and future of LCI Barcelona.

START OF #LCIBCN10

On Wednesday, February 15th we started our anniversary celebrations with a grand gala dinner at the iconic The Imperial, located in the center of Barcelona. The event brought together numerous guests from the design, politics, fashion and the media industry. During the evening, a fashion show was held with 10 looks created by the designers trained in our classrooms who have obtained greater recognition from the sector. Don't miss the chronicle!

GROWING FOR A DECADE

LCI BARCELONA IS BORN

After the acquisition of Felicidad Duce Fashion School by the Canadian educational network LCI Education.
FROM FASHION SCHOOL TO DESIGN SCHOOL
- We add the areas of Interior Design, Graphic Design and Product Design.
- The first mobility action is carried out between two campuses of the LCI Education network (Montreal and Jakarta) and LCI Barcelona.
WE INAUGURATE BALMES 209

We move from Guillem Tell to our new facilities at Balmes 209.
OUR OFFICIAL MASTERS ARE BORN

We launch three programs in Experiential Interior Design, Technological Product Design and Creation and Development of Digital Projects.
A STEP FURTHER IN SUSTAINABILITY
- In 2017, the Catalan Government award us a special mention in the Premi Catalunya d'Ecodisseny (Ecodesign Catalonia Award).
- In 2018, innovation in sustainability is integrated in all our programs.
WE ADD VISUAL ARTS TO THE DESIGN OFFER

With the acquisition of Seeway School, we consolidate our educational offer in Graphic Design and we add two new areas: Animation and Video Games and Photography.
WE EXPAND OUR FACILITIES

We add the facilities at 207 Balmes Street to host the new areas of the School and provide more resources.
THE NEW CAMPUS IS COMING
- In September 2021, the construction of our future campus in 22@ begins.
- In April 2022, a time capsule is placed on the building's ground floor.

OUR FUTURE CAMPUS

LCI Education's project in Barcelona keeps growing and will soon fill with talent its new facilities in 22@, the district of creativity and innovation. This 11,000m2 campus will be next door to the Museu del Disseny (Barcelona's Design Museum) and will have the highest BREEAM® rating in sustainability and the most advanced technology.
