One more year, the Asian event that opens the China Fashion Week has rewarded the talent emerged from LCI Barcelona. The student Maria Molina has won the Silver Award (second prize) with the three looks of her collection "Rain Dust", while Claudia Camps and Judit Matas have taken home two Excellent Awards thanks to their proposals "Introspection" and "Face to face", respectively. Under the theme "Wild-Life", the 27th edition of the competition invited participants to express wildlife through fashion design without losing sight of modern civilization. The Hempel Award - China International Young Fashion Designers Contest, organised by the China Fashion Association and Hempel International Group, has received more than 1500 entries from all over the world.

Our School has also been represented in Beijing by professor and project director Gabriel Torres, a member of the jury along with other internationally renowned academics, designers, fashion critics and artists. The professor comes from being part of the Top Ten Brands and the Top Ten Designers contests within the Shenzhen Fashion Week, and he will stay a few more days in the Chinese capital to participate in the Top Ten Designers contest and the 10+3 Showroom Young Designer Incubation Program.
