The catwalk for designers and emerging brands celebrates from 25th to 28th June its 24th edition with a program full of events and activities that will fill the Modernist Complex of Sant Pau (and the last day also the port Marina Vela) with fashion and talent. As usual, LCI Barcelona will not miss this great event:
Different design and fashion schools in Catalonia present a selection of theses during the event. Sandra Soriano, alumni of Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, participates with two looks from his collection "HANGAR" (Excellent Award at Hempel Award China 2018).
The new psychedelic adventure of our alumni plays with the perception of reality and oneself to offer the public a multisensory trip to a magical world full of colors and fantastic beings.
The brand led by Guillermina Baeza herself and her daughter Belén Larruy, also designer and director of our Master's Degree in Fashion Design, pays tribute to its most emblematic garments with new forms of trimmings to empower women through swimsuits and bikinis that combine classicism and contemporaneity.
On Thursday, June 27th, at 11:30h it will take place the presentation of the sustainable fashion and circular economy project that we are leading together with the technology company Epson and the international platform Seaqual. Thanks to this initiative, four of our students have been able to create their final degree projects using fabrics generated from plastics recovered from the Mediterranean.
"MEMORIES OF THE FUTURE"
Within the OFF program of the 080 Barcelona Fashion, on Friday, June 28th, at 13:00h and 17:30h we will celebrate two fashion shows with the collections of Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design 2019 class. That day, the talent and creativity of our students will materialize at Disseny Hub Barcelona, gateway to the neighborhood of Poblenou and to 22@, the innovation district.
Happy 080 Barcelona Fashion to all!
