We are very happy to announce that we have started to resume face-to-face academic activity at our facilities. The final year students of the Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design are finishing their final collections. Despite the fact that the evaluation of the course will only take into account the work carried out until April, the direction has wanted to fulfill this tradition of our Fashion School that will help future graduates to enrich their portfolio and will facilitate their entrance to the professional world.

Product Design students have access to TecnoFab these days to attend their project classes, and there are also practical sessions in other programs such as the Master in Fashion Design, the Master in Styling, the Postgraduate in Footwear, etc. The goal is that all students of bachelor's degrees, higher diplomas and masters and postgraduates can present their final projects in the coming weeks. In addition, the campus also hosts classes held in the Felicidad Duce classroom, exams and recovery reviews and admission exams for the bachelor's degree.

This progressive return to activity is being carried out following a series of hygiene and security protocols against the virus:

  • The waiting areas have been removed, and all visits (both for students and people who come to inquire about our programs) are now made by appointment.
  • Everyone is required to wear a face mask while on campus, and it is necessary to wash the hands with hydroalcoholic gel through the dispensers that have been installed before entering. The temperature will also be taken for visitors, students and professors.
  • Signalling panels have been installed throughout the campus that includes the different directions to follow (for example, maintaining the recommended safety distance).
  • The routes and flows of people through the facilities have been restricted, leaving the different accesses and stairs limited for one-way use.

After these months of confinement in which we have launched a plan for the continuity of academic activity, we are very excited to gradually recover normality at LCI Barcelona and we love being able to meet again with our community. We want to take advantage of this statement to thank students, professors and staff members for their commitment, effort and dedication during the COVID-19 crisis.
