LCI Barcelona and Seeway walk together

As we announced in June, LCI Barcelona and Seeway have teamed up to grow as a design school and offer new opportunities to students. This merger translates into synergies with which we will obtain better experiences for our students and a broader educational offer that ranges from fashion design, graphic design, interior design, product design and photography in all its facets to animation and video game design. In addition to this extensive academic offer available on the two websites (which will also be unified very soon), our educational community will enjoy many benefits that we will gradually unveil.

Just like two families that come together, LCI Barcelona and Seeway become a single unit to grow together, help each other and create complicities that make us, in short, stronger. We are very happy to start on a new path that is bearing its first fruits.

JOINT PHOTOSHOOT

Tomorrow, November 20th, we will celebrate a photoshoot that will become the first of the great collaborations between both schools. With time, these activities will become frequent and all students will be able to take advantage of studying in a center specialized in different disciplines.

The students of the Master’s Degree in Fashion and Advertising Photography, taught at the Seeway campus in Pau Claris street, and the Master’s Degree in Fashion Styling, Advertising and Audiovisual Media, which is taught at the LCI Barcelona facilities in Balmes street, will participate in the photoshoot. Both programs have an open call for February and March, respectively.

The activity will take place throughout the day at the LCI Barcelona campus. On the one hand, the students of the Master’s Degree in Photography have prepared a session inspired by the iconic bar Marseille of the Raval neighbourhood. For their part, the students of the Master’s Degree in Styling will contribute the pieces that will be photographed, belonging to the final collections of the Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design 2018-2019 class. The whole team, together with models, make-up artists and atrezzo, is led by the coordinator of the Photography area, Salvatore Elefante.

CREATING COMMUNITY

Beyond tomorrow's results, the activity will help students and professors to actively perceive the benefits of the union between LCI Barcelona and Seeway: more educational offer, more and better resources, the internationalization of studies on the other campuses of the LCI Education network.

Both schools have always been committed to professionalism and the training of new talents. Activities such as tomorrow's photoshoot will strengthen these concepts and reinforce one more, that of community, a value that we want to promote from now on.
