LCI Barcelona 2015/16 Graduation Ceremony
The event took place in the auditorium of the National Institute of Physical Education of Catalonia – INEFC, located in the emblematic Montjuïc Olympic Ring.
Leading the event were Mr. Claude Marchand, President of LCI Education, and the General Director of LCI Barcelona, Mrs. Sílvia Viudas, and also Mrs. Beatriu Malaret, Director of Pedagogy and Quality of the School.
The session began with a few words of Mr. Marchand and Mrs. Viudas, who congratulated the students for their hard work. Then Mr. David García, Catalan Fashion Cluster Executive Director and patron of this year’s class, talked about the current situation of the sector and the opportunities it can offer to newcomers.
After that, the awards for the best master projects were granted. The main award, provided with 1500 euros, was for Yesica Escabros, Daniela Mandel, Catalina de los Ángeles Ugarte and Carlota Rodríguez for their project ESCORPION.
Later, the student Marta Boneu spoke on behalf of all her classmates. She remembered different moments at the school and also talked about the future. Marta encouraged students from lower grades to keep fighting to work in Fashion industry.
The event concluded with the delivery of diplomas to the students of different educational programs offered by the School. It was a great day for us because, as our director Mrs. Sílvia Viudas said, "LCI Barcelona has a new generation of talented ambassadors".
