The profile of a fashion designer corresponds to that of a creative professional with a broad training that includes economic, sociological, historical, artistic, technical and personal aspects necessary to connect with the client's needs and the spirit of the moment. In an increasingly changing context in which fashion accentuates its potential as a tool for communication and transformation, aligning design proposals with sustainable development objectives and becoming aware of the active role of the designer is key to generating proposals with positive impact.

This online master has been created with the aim of training and updating the traditional profile of the fashion designer in the digital and distance environment with an entrepreneurial and proactive spirit. Currently, the use of methodologies such as design thinking, user analysis and agile work systems help to reinforce teamwork and telematics, while the growth of 3D printing and the emergence of a new generation of digital prototyping software are challenging traditional work systems.

The program offers comprehensive training focused on working with digital skills and tools so that the fashion designer is prepared for the phygital future of the fashion industry, in which the digital and physical environments merge.

Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University (2000), she founded in 1999 itfashion.com, one of the first online fashion magazines. Since then, she has specialized in creating content and editorial plans online and offline, both for publications –VEIN, El País, Telva, SModa– and for brands –Absolut, Bershka, Stradivarius, TOUS Baby or Naf Naf–, as well as in the construction of intangibles for fashion firms. Currently she combines her work as a consultant and editor with the direction of the Fashion Design area of LCI Barcelona.

The master is structured in five modules, including a final project:

  • Module V: Master's final project
