Thanks to this course, the students will learn how to develop the grading of children's outer garments base patterns, as well as certain transformations. Although the possibilities of pattern making are infinite and they are adapted to the fashion of each season, through the patterns made, clear guidelines will be obtained to follow for the grading of any model.

This course is aimed at people who know how to develop patterns and want to learn the techniques of grading. It is essential to master pattern making, since the natural process of making a garment is based on the realization of the base pattern, its transformation and, subsequently, the sizing of the model.

ESTEL VILASECA

Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University (2000), she founded in 1999 itfashion.com, one of the first online fashion magazines. Since then, she has specialized in creating content and editorial plans online and offline, both for publications –VEIN, El País, Telva, SModa– and for brands –Absolut, Bershka, Stradivarius, TOUS Baby or Naf Naf–, as well as in the construction of intangibles for fashion firms. Currently she combines her work as a consultant and editor with the direction of the Fashion Design area of LCI Barcelona.

LCI Barcelona has its own pattern making system, the prestigious Feli Method, created by the founder of the Fashion School. Its techniques, which evolve and are constantly revised, are included in the books of Felicidad Duce Publishing House.
