Sant Jordi: Round table presentation of "Moda a pie de calle" by Joana Biarnés

On April 20th we will anticipate Sant Jordi's diada by celebrating a day full of activities. At 16:30h we will enjoy a round table presentation of the book "Moda a pie de calle" (Blume).
Salvatore Elefante and Estel Vilaseca, heads of our Photography and Fashion areas, will discuss the figure of Joana Biarnés, considered the first Spanish photojournalist. Her work shows the evolution of fashion and society from the late 50s to the early 70s. The session will also be attended by Josep Casamartina, historian of art, architecture and fashion, art critic and head of the Antoni de Montpalau textile collection, one of the largest private fashion collections in Spain.
