Next Thursday, May 28th at 6:30 p.m. (Barcelona time) we will go on an exciting journey to the birthplace of fashion, Paris, through a selection of looks that made history. Seven iconic designs from 1910 to 1971 signed by Paul Poiret, Coco Chanel, Madame Vionnet, Elsa Schiaparelli, Dior, Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent will transport us to the epicenter of haute couture. Through illustrations and photographs of that time we will discover the reason of the importance and influence of these proposals, as well as the impact they had on the press of the time.
Our guide during this trip will be Julen Morrás Azpiazu, a designer who combines his work as product manager at Lydia Delgado with his other great passion: collecting fashion magazines. Through his Instagram, which has more than 20,000 followers, he shares his extensive collection with the world that began in the early nineties: "I collect old fashion magazines because I am passionate about fashion history and the way these publications transmit it through the eyes of publishers, photographers and illustrators".
