The interior designer is a professional capable of analyzing, researching, designing and directing project and execution teams of space creation works. With the specialty of Interiors, LCI Barcelona wants to respond to the growing demand of this profile that, at the same time, requires a more competitive training.
Society and the market need talented and creative professionals who can provide real solutions to new social, cultural and economic contexts in terms of the relationship between the people and the spaces they inhabit.
Space design is the implementation of creative knowledge within the process of developing a product and service in a living environment. The good use of interior design contributes to increase the value, reduce costs and improve the efficiency of production processes and productivity, since it integrates aesthetic, functional, economic, social, cultural and environmental dimensions.
This program aims to train competitive designers who are capable of meeting the challenges of today and the future. With a special emphasis on research processes, creativity, technology and sustainability, the student will learn through a teaching methodology based on learning by doing and the culture of the project.
After finishing the degree, the student will be prepared to enter a profession that is increasingly required by companies. He or she will be part of the LCI Education network international portfolio and also part of the wide range of LCI Barcelona job opportunities. The program will also offer the student the possibility of studying a specialization master or an official master, that allows access to a PhD program for those who decide to direct their career towards the world of research.
