The catwalk for designers and emerging brands is celebrating its 21st edition until Friday with a full programme of events and activities that will flood Barcelona with design, fashion and talent. Felicidad Duce, the Fashion School of LCI Barcelona, could not miss this great event in which it will be present in different ways:

EVERYDAY

SCHOOLS AREA

Fourteen design and fashion schools of Catalonia, including us, present a selection of dissertations in the Open Area. Our representative will be Elba Blanco, who will exhibit a sample of her collection "Forditopía", with which she won the LCI Barcelona Graduation Fest.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 30th

4:00 pm - "TRENDY FLOCK" by KRIZIA ROBUSTELLA

The new collection of the alumni for the Autumn-Winter 2018/19 season is an ironic critique of contemporary youth, aesthetics, trends and fakes. A suggestive collaboration with illustrator Susana López who, using the artifice technique in her unmistakable drawings, creates a youth gang with whom everyone can identify. "Trendy Flock" plays with what is real and what is not.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 1st

4:00 pm - "PROSPECT PARK" by JINKSIEMINKS

Alejandro Ibáñez, alumni of the Master in Fashion Administration and Management, proposes a stroll through this wonderful park in Brooklyn which, unlike Central Park, is far from the bustle of the Big Apple. Prospect Park, its colors, smells, calm and vegetation inspire this sophisticated, decadent and sporty collection.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2nd

11:00 am - "TSUNAMI" by PILAR DEL CAMPO

After studying Fashion Design, Pilar has been perfecting her profession guided by inspiration. She currently designs garments that reflect the complexity, style and elegance of women looking to the future. This collection is dedicated to the tsunami, a phenomenon that after filling her dreams with anguish allows her to progress professionally.

12:30 pm - "KOMOREBI" by AMT.

He created his first capsule collection in 2014, he launched months later a line of jewelry in 3D printing made from recycled materials, and then he created his brand, whose garments are produced in a sustainable way in Catalonia. The alumni Adrià Machado presents a collection inspired by this Japanese concept which means "the light that enters through the trees". To represent this sensation, they use light fabrics such as tencel or cotton, as well as foil to brighten the looks. The heavier materials represent the trees and the obstacles that light fight with to make its way through nature.

Congratulations and good luck to you all!
