Chef and entrepreneur Andrea Dopico collaborates with our Master in Gastronomic Photography

The students of the Master in Gastronomic and Advertising Photography have the opportunity to work this academic year with Andrea Dopico, the young Venezuelan chef and entrepreneur who has captivated Catalonia with her brilliant flavors and Latin American roots. More specifically, our students will be in charge of taking the photographs for her new project, andiNC., the first 100% digital Spanish bakery that aims not only to reinvent the business but also to claim the good sweets and the passion for quality, flavor and detail.

Andrea visited the campus at the end of November to present the details of the collaboration and to introduce the students to her career and the universe of the brand. She also gave us an interview that we will soon publish and in which she defended that "without store windows, gastronomic photography is the only meeting point with the product". She also said she is delighted with the project and assured that she wants to give the students freedom because she respects their creativity.

After working in different Michelin star restaurants such as El Club Allard, Moments, ABaC and Terra, Andrea Dopico was recognized by Forbes as one of the best young promises in Europe (2017) and Cosmopolitan included her in its "Women to Watch" list (2018). In March 2020 she launched andiNC., the project in which our students will collaborate during the next months. We will keep you updated!
