Our students of Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design Maria Molina (with the collection "Rain Dust", whose illustrations can be seen above), Claudia Camps (with "Introspection") and Judit Matas (with "Face to face") have been selected to take part in the final round of Hempel Award, which will be held next March in Beijing during Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week. The theme of the 27th edition of the contest is "Wild-Life", defined by the organizers as follows: "Wild implies both original and freedom, wild can be a fish wandering in shallow water, wild can be a tiger roaring in woods. Life is a wheel, life is also prosperity. Modern people believe charm of wild life lies in the tension of life and nature transmigration. This time Hempel Award invite you to express wild-life in your eyes through fashion design and touch wild world by modern civilization".
"Introspection" - Claudia Camps
"Face to face" - Judit Matas
LCI Barcelona participates since 1996 in this international event organized by the China Fashion Association and Hempel International Group, in which it competes with the best schools in the world. The good results year after year (without going any further, the 2017 edition ended with three awards and the 2018 one, with two awards), show the high level of our students. Good luck to all three!
Last Thursday afternoon was held the final gala of the LCI Barcelona Fashion Film Festival 2018. The event gathered at the Museu del Disseny - DHUB (Barcelona's Design Museum) more than 300 guests to attend the awards ceremony, half of which recognize the emerging talent.
