We are delighted because the two project students have reached the final of this international competition to be held next October in the city of Shenzhen (whose municipal government organizes the contest in collaboration with the Garment Industry Association). Clara and Sara are part of the group of 25 people who have been selected from among almost 1200 that were presented.
Under the theme "Awakening: Original, Green, Healthy", all the finalist collections of the China International Ecological Fashion Design Contest share the same objectives: to attract public’s attention on environmental protection and to promote originality in design, green production and healthy consumption. In the case of our students, Clara participates with "Spero", a project made from materials collected in her trips to which she has given a second life in order to remind us that we are in a global world and that we must work together. For her part, Sara turns away from consumerism with "Contamination", a collection that recycles different fabrics and plastics to express the connection that, as a community, we have with Mother Earth. Congratulations and good luck to you both!
The two professionals were the protagonists of "Illustration and fashion: environments and confluences", a session framed within our Postgraduate in Creative Illustration in Fashion which was moderated by the director of the program, Roser Masip.
