The official Catalan catwalk celebrates from 25th to 29th June its 22nd edition with a programme full of events and activities that will fill the Modernist Complex of Sant Pau with design, fashion and talent. Felicidad Duce, the Fashion School of LCI Barcelona, could not miss this great event:
Five alumni of Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design will sell their garments in this space: Manuel Bolaño (Monday, June 25th), Anastasiya Stepanenko (Tuesday, June 26th), Domingo Rodríguez - Dominnico (Wednesday, June 27th), Berta Cabestany (Thursday, June 28th) and Shukhrat Khodjaev (Friday, June 29th). Also on sale will be some exclusive t-shirts with the official LCI Barcelona DYSTOPIAS image (some of them customized by our students), whose entire proceeds will go to the LCI Education Foundation.
In this competition, eight teams composed of students from Barcelona's fashion and photography schools compete to produce the best photo reportage with models dressed by different brands/designers who have paraded in the 080 Barcelona Fashion. Our representative in the activity will be Manel Ferrer, alumni of Master's Degree in Fashion Styling, Advertising and Audiovisual Media, who won the award for the Best Final Project of the Master's Degree 2016/17 for his proposal "Follow The White Rabbit".
Different design and fashion schools in Catalonia present a selection of theses. Carlos Calvo, alumni of Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, participates with two looks from his collection "InKrUsH - l'Oeil dans le projet" (3rd prize at LCI Barcelona Graduation Fest 2017 and Gold Award at Hempel Award China 2017).
LCI BARCELONA DYSTOPIAS
On Friday, June 29th, at 10:00h and 12:00h we will celebrate two fashion shows with the collections of Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design 2017/18 class. That day we will all enjoy together the talent and creativity of our students, who will have already become designers.
Good luck and happy 080 Barcelona Fashion to all!
The two professionals were the protagonists of "Illustration and fashion: environments and confluences", a session framed within our Postgraduate in Creative Illustration in Fashion which was moderated by the director of the program, Roser Masip.
