The 19th edition of this reference event in design world was inaugurated yesterday. Until Friday February 3rd, the National Theater of Catalonia will become an international showcase of the best emerging talent, and our School could not miss it.

In the space reserved for the exhibition of dissertations of 2015/16 course, JOSE CARAYOL represents us. The recent graduate will be exhibiting a sample of his KEEP IT SIMPLE collection, which won the Top 20 Talent Show last June.

In parade section, we can see the latest work of:

  • PILAR DEL CAMPO - REFLECTION (Wednesday, February 1st - 11:00h)
Fashion changes according to tastes, situations and the moments society is going through "fashion is the mirror of society". It is what unconsciously reflects who we are and how we are in each moment. Fashion reveals us, makes us transparent, makes us feel like a mirror. In this collection, garments take on the role of the mirror.

  • KRIZIA ROBUSTELLA - JOLLY DEATH CREW (Wednesday, February 1st - 12:30h)
After the gansta burial of her last spring-summer 2017 collection, Krizia Robustella rises up from the dead. This time, the designer’s shell suit style is combined with a plethora of zombies from the hereafter and the living dead giving life to a very colorful delightful gang.

  • DANIEL ROSA - ISOLATION (Thursday, February 2nd - 11:00h)
This collection is inspired by different interrelated concepts such as tenacity, comfort and nostalgia, using the Mount Rainier stratovolcano as a creative thread. The landscapes of this mountain are built on flanks of one of the hottest and most hostile places on the Earth.

Throughout the week, attendees will be able to enjoy the exhibition-presentation of MANUEL BOLAÑO collection PLAN B. This line of our alumni garments brings together all the mythical garments of the atelier in one space. The "B" symbolizes the essence of the basic, which represents the initial of the brand, a letter that reflects the color of the collection: black. Handcrafted garments fused with a 50s and 60s dressmaking style, accompanied by high quality fabrics such as cotton lamé jacquard, silk satin, cashmere wools, hand knitted garments, fabrics and techniques with an air of the past but united in a contemporary design that together make up a very particular and sensitive line.

In this edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion we will see the creations of our alumni, but also those of the teachers. On Tuesday January 31st at 17:30h, JOSEP APRIL, professor of the Master in Fashion Design, will show his collection EYES.
