Knowing how to make a pattern is very useful when conceiving and making any garment. In this introductory program, the students will learn to take measures from a mannequin or directly from the person to apply them later on the patterns, develop them and make prototypes and transformations.
The course will also cover topics such as choosing fabrics, cutting pieces, testing and adjusting garments for women and children and knowledge of proportions and making and finishing techniques.
This course is aimed at people who want to start developing patterns, assembling and making clothes.

Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University (2000), she founded in 1999 itfashion.com, one of the first online fashion magazines. Since then, she has specialized in creating content and editorial plans online and offline, both for publications –VEIN, El País, Telva, SModa– and for brands –Absolut, Bershka, Stradivarius, TOUS Baby or Naf Naf–, as well as in the construction of intangibles for fashion firms. Currently she combines her work as a consultant and editor with the direction of the Fashion Design area of LCI Barcelona.
LCI Barcelona has its own pattern making system, the prestigious Feli Method, created by the founder of the Fashion School. Its techniques, which evolve and are constantly revised, are included in the books of Felicidad Duce Publishing House.
